So who needs pictures anyway?

I was uploading pictures to my blog a few days ago and a box popped up that my storage was full. So I opened my Picasa web albums to delete pictures or purchase more storage.
I decided to delete my blogger photo album, it stores all the photos you post on your blog.
I thought they were just copies of everything I loaded, and that the actual pictures are on my blog.
It turns out, THAT album is where your blog photos stored. And I deleted it. And deleted means deleted. There is no trash can to recover from.
Three years of blog posts without photos.
It makes me physically ill.
I have all those pictures on my hard drive but I have to individually reload them all. My computer with all my photos on it is in storage, in Maryland.
Deep breath.
So in January I have my work cut out for me. I will be salvaging what I can, re-posting all my pictures back onto my blog.
Then I'm going to print it out, or have it made into a book. Something.
So the moral of this story is, don't delete your blogger web album.

Providence City Celebration

We really have been living it up since we flew in here! Providence city had an anniversary celebration the Saturday after we got here.
Naomi spent the day running in and out of all the blow up slide/jumping things to rides, the rock wall, collecting goodies and chasing her cousins.
Whew.

Naomi made it about 10 feet up on the rock wall. I was so proud of her, she was super brave.

Exhausted.

Parking

Parking, you know, the kind you do after you have kids;)

For starters, we have our own private park we have here at my parents home! There is lots of room for little ones to run and play.
We are really enjoying the back yard.
There is a tetherball (do you remember those? They were SO cool in elementary school) and Naomi and James were playing with the ball after dinner today.
Naomi gave the ball a big push and it swung around and popped James smack on the side of his head. He bounced off the ball to the ground. He was not a happy camper. Poor kid.
But as soon as I picked him up to give him hugs and make it all better, you know, like mommy's do, he wanted to get down. He was going back for more, or to show that ball who's boss!

Wild Flowers, both kinds;)

Willow Park and Ryan's Place Park are some of our favorites around here.
Ryan's Place has the coolest places to climb, explore, slide, pretty much everything a kid could dream of.

And Willow Park, need I say more? It's a mini zoo. There are a lot of birds and tons of ducks. Ducks. James has just a small obsession with ducks. It was his first word. That pretty much says it all. He could have stayed there for hours watching them waddle. He really wanted to climb the fence and play with them. Maybe next time baby.

Fly Away with Me

These two were as good as good can be. The flight (direct, no layovers thank goodness!) was a dream this time. I was prepared for the worst and these two were perfect angels. I think they must have sensed that their mama was just about drained. It had been a long week moving out.
I think the worst thing that happend was James started crying while I took Naomi to the restroom. He recovered fully I'm happy to report.
